9/MARTHA-THE AWESOMENESS
Here is a very good reason that Saturday's Doctor Who will scare the crap out of me.  The episode "The Satan's Pit" (right?) is the conclusion of a two-parter wherein the first part was very creepy.

So, there's that.

Oh yeah, I finally heard from my sister while she's in South Africa.  It's her first time out of the US and she was nervous but she seems to be getting over it.  She's there with a few fellow teachers to study the schools and how they teach over there.  It sounded really fasinating from what she told me.  Soon they'll be in Johannesburg and then in their last week, they travel to Cape Town and take a safari and visit Table Mountain.  I wish I were there too.

9/MARTHA-THE AWESOMENESS
As a distraction from my first plane ride in 13 years tomorrow, I thought that I would write about a show I love and adore.

I was able to see "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances". I don't think I could love Christopher Eccleston more as the Doctor than I do in those two episodes. His expressions are hilarious and he's so damn cute at the end of "The Doctor Dances".

I really like David Tennant as the Doctor, I just can't help it when I see the new episodes and afterwards picture Chris in his place. It doesn't work so well, although there are certain scenes, especially in
I just saw the whole miniseries for BSG the other night, I will definitely be iconning it when I get back.

Friday is my grandfather's funeral and the place is going to be swarming with people I've never met and people I don't really care to see again.  I think it'll be okay.  I just never wanted to say goodbye.

I'll be back online for the summer on Sunday, if I don't take my computer with me.

I made this icon, and I don't think I've ever been this happy with how it's turned out.  I think this is one of the best I've done.  Yay!
