Well, I, at least, was able to go to sleep at peace last night.

But I ignored this bit last night, and now it's very very clear.

THE FUCKING BAN ON SAME-SEX MARRIAGES PASSED HERE. WTF Florida? I'm so angry right now. I just...we turn blue but still find a way to fuck up. 62%-37%

Well, my mom and I voted against it (I'm afraid to ask my dad, but I think he may have voted for it). I suppose that's all I can say right now. FUCKING HELL. I really don't see the state picking up and working to appeal this or whatever anytime soon. It kinda feels like some people just voted for Obama and then went red the rest of the way.

But man, it's really nice to see that Obama won the national popular vote 52%-46% (so far?), that's such a nice margin. It's really beautiful to see the electoral map from 2004 and see it now.

Oh, and are they not gonna call Missouri and North Carolina for a while? Re-count? Or are they counting Missouri as McCain yet?

My heart is full. It's a good night, you guys. It really is.

I think my tears are gone for the moment :D

And now that all these long months are done and gone, I can sleep now.

ELECTION DAY IS HERE. As you already know, as many of you have already posted about it!

Anyway, no less than an hour ago I voted. I'm perfectly situated as my polling place it literally right across the street and while it was PACKED this morning, when I went over, there wasn't really anyone there and we have a pretty short ballot here so it didn't take long at all.

I hope all that can are able to get out and vote and get heard! :D

And I hope no matter the outcome we can look forward to better times.
