LJ's gone kinda crazy, hasn't it? So, in effort to sort of ignore it and to not worry about things, I'm presenting to my f-list the Doctor Who fic I said I wrote the other day. It's short, about 370 words, and it's about Rose, and it takes place immediately after "The Doctor Dances". I'm just giving it to you guys, letting you all be my betas and and brit-pick and whatever and then everyone else can read it. So this is flocked for now. It's sort of Nine/Rose, because how can I resist, but there's nothing really going on, just some dancing and Rose's thoughts and whatever. No dialogue. Weird. My tentative title choice is everything we have is all we need. Lower-case because it's cool like that. ;) It's a lyric from a Snow Patrol song, I believe, and I liked it. This could probably get away with a G-rating. Because I'm boring like that. The other fic I wrote ( Special Unit 2, which I'm still baffled about) probably earns an R-rating or PG-13 at the least. ( Enjoy this... )

I just re-watched "Rose", the first episode of the 2005 series, and I can't believe I forgot how much I adore that episode. Sure, it has it's cheesy moments, but, from an American point of view, it was amazing for a "pilot" episode. I first saw it in March, and didn't really watch it again, I was too busy re-watching "The End of the World", which has become probably my favorite series one episode, and "The Unquiet Dead", which is probably the most underrated episode of series one. May have references to series one and series two episodes, all the way up to "Army of Ghosts". But not THAT spoiler, nothing beyond AoG, and nothing important from that episode. Also, talk about series two.
And I just caught the last five minutes of a Doctor Who marathon on SciFi. How the hell did I miss that?

I've never written Doctor Who before because, well, I'm American and I had no idea where I could even begin. But this popped into my head and I couldn't resist. Enjoy. Title: I Remember Author: meganlynn Characters: Nine, I'll include Rose since he's thinking about her. Rated: K+ (I believe) Spoilers: "The Parting of the Ways" Summary: But she wanted me safe, so it’s on her own head. Notes: A small drabble (104 words to be exact, I couldn't narrow it) about what could have been in the 9th Doctor's head at the end of PoTW.

Courtesy of who_daily, I saw that ed_zeppelin had compared episodes from the current series to their counterparts of the 2005 series of Doctor Who. I liked the idea, and wanted to post my own feelings and compare episodes--With pictures as well! Spoilers for series 1 and 2 within. All goes. Beware of language as well. Pics, unless otherwise noticed, are from Time and Space, Stakes and Stones Screencaps, and Leave Me the White.
Okay, more Doctor Who. I was searching through After-Shock and found some of the best behind the scenes photos and some that aren't. All are placed under the cut.
And now, because I miss him as the Doctor so much, I share my love for the 9th Doctor and for Nine/Rose.
And because I'm so nice, I will include some of the 10th Doctor. I've posted this before, but here they are again: Hot, and with glasses, when wet and when drying off (or so we're led to believe).
Ok, so there you are. That took me over two hours. I'm sick for doing this (for clarification). But I like it. Maybe. Hope you all enjoyed!

And now I continue "Father's Day"-Doctor/Rose with part two. Sorry I'm so late! May include references to future episodes. Again, all screencaps from Stakes and Stones Screencaps. Enjoy part 2!

A few days later than I wanted, but here's my continuation of Rose/Doctor in "Father's Day". I think this episode shows real progress about how far they've come and it shows us how much they each can screw up. I love it. All screencaps from Stakes and Stones Screencaps. May have references to future episodes. This is only part one, I hope to have the 2nd part up later tonight. Enjoy!
Part 2 should be up later tonight, but not too late.

More Doctor/Rose, from "The Long Game". While this isn't everyone's favorite episode, it's perfect for a go-between with "Dalek" and "Father's Day". It's really a fun, enjoyable episode, and Rose and the Doctor's relationship is so simple here that analysis is almost unnecessary. But pictures are pretty. May include references to future episode. All screencaps from Stake and Stones Screencaps. Enjoy!

I'm a little late posting this, I was busy yesterday. And I'm a little sick, so I'm only doing one episode. So, the Doctor and Rose continue and in "Dalek" and there's little progress in their relationship. But enough to move on. This will be much different than the others, but please enjoy anyway. May include references to future series one episodes. All screencaps taken from Stakes and Stones Screencaps. Enjoy!
"The Long Game" should hopefully be put up tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be over this cold soon because it sucks. Thanks! ETA: There is discussion of the 2nd season (or series 2) in the comments.

The progress of Doctor/Rose continues in the first two-parter of series one. It'll be a little different the the previous two and the ones to follow, but hopefully you'll still follow along. All caps taken from Stakes and Stones Screencaps. Enjoy!
Ok, either tomorrow or Thursday I'll post the next one and that one will include both "Dalek" and "The Long Game". Until then!

"The Unquiet Dead" More Doctor Who screencap goodness. This time, the relationship between the Doctor and Rose most definitely changes, for the better in my opinion. References to future episodes (within series one) so beware if you haven't seen them all. Enjoy! Stakes and Stones Screencaps are where I get my screencaps.
I haven't actually watched the episode for a while, so a lot of my observations are "Wow, I don't remember that look" and then I analyze. Sorry if that's bothersome. So, I really enjoy doing these. I hope people can enjoy looking at them.

I think whoever reads my journal probably has become completely bored with it since it's the same thing over and over again. DOCTOR WHO!! But it is different this time. I have a purpose. I want to trace the Doctor and Rose's relationship throughout series 1 and then series 2. After Saturday's new episode, I think we could use something to remind some of us why we love Rose and the Doctor, romantic or otherwise. I'm starting with the episode "The End of the World", because along with "The Unquiet Dead", it is one of my faves of season 1 with. I really liked Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor in "Rose" but I started to love him starting with this episode and it's an important episode, I think. So, onward! I may refer to future series one episodes, so if you haven't seen all of them, beware. Otherwise, enjoy! All screencaps are from Stakes and Stones Screencaps.
Next episode I will do like this is "The Unquiet Dead", which not a lot of people liked, but I loved it. I'll show you why next time!
