Yes, it's a GI Joe film, but I've seen the pictures on several sites of all the characters (my Google Alerts have been going nuts, I'm almost tempted to turn them off!), and the amount of fanboy whinging about "So and so wears yellow" or "where's X's fluorescent pink outfit" is truly hysterical. That's an exaggeration about the fluorescent pink outfit - but not by much!

I've now seen the comments you're talking about, on comingsoon.net, and OMG, declaring this the worst movie ever based off costumes. And then they're all whining about CE/Destro (that's the name of his character, right?) not having the mask.

And THEN I saw this comment: "I will say that Christopher Eccelston looks like a poor mans Ray Fiennes." (that's a direct quote, I had to find it). Oh man.

He's a MAN"s man's Ralph Fiennes.

Seriously, I think Ralph is very pretty, but he's never, ever been sexy to me. The fact that he's a jerk (I knew this even before the airline incident because I have friends in London theatre circles) does not help.

It's the new G.I. Joe movie being filmed now. HE LOOKS SO GOOD and this is totally one of those movies that I would laugh my ass off at.

Eh, that's okay! Not every look of his can be a hit. I just like this because I don't like his hair long, and even though it looks slicked back, still good to me!

Aw, I was watching some Nine eps last night because I missed him. Oh, I miss that season and it's greatness SO much!

That season was just as close to perfection as one can get. SO awesome.
