9/MARTHA-THE AWESOMENESS
Ah, I bet you guys would be proud that I actually watched the new Doctor Who episode TODAY instead of a couple weeks from now if y'all cared! ;D

So, yes I watched it.

Was it just me, or did it sort of feel like a one-off? Maybe it was because of Donna/CT's last appearance, but it didn't feel like an "episode".

It was enjoyable, Ten was...really tolerable, I don't even remember a scene of him that I cringed at! Unless I blanked it out, which after so long, is completely plausible.

It wasn't the best premiere, I have "Rose" and "Smith and Jones" tied for first ("Rose" will always have a special place in my heart, and I think "Smith and Jones" was RTD's best premiere, technically, by which I'm referring to the plot).

Not sure if this rates over "New Earth" or not.

Kinda miss Martha, like Ten when he looked up and was talking to no-one. Aww. It was nice to hear she did him good. I adored seeing her on Torchwood, but it'll be wonderful to see her back on DW.

Donna's gonna be interesting this season, I'll tell you that! :)

*sigh* While I'll just say I'm ambivalent about Rose's appearance towards the end, I most certainly am not about hearing that Rose "is still lost".

I do not care what anyone says, RTD included, Rose is not fucking lost. Maybe he has a different dictionary than me, but he will not convince me that Rose is fucking lost. Maybe I have the wrong definition for the word, but when you know exactly where a person is, how they are, who they're with, whether or not you can reach them, they're not effing lost. Debatable or not, that's how I feel, and it bugs me that it's otherwise implied.

Anyway...

Next week looks interesting.

Icon used because I am SO making a Nine/Rose mood theme.

Haven't seen the episode yet, but I'm glad you saw it and seemed to at least enjoyed it!

I would agree with your Rose mention. I like to think that Rose took hold of her life without the Doctor and that if she's searching for him, it's because she has a good reason, not because she's erm... lost.

And Ten didn't make you cringe? NOT ONCE?

Hm, the "lost" comment wasn't in relation to her appearance, if that was what I made it sound like.

Donna was asking if the Doctor was still alone, and he mentioned Martha and then Donna asked about Rose and the Doctor said she was "still lost", hence my frustration.

I KNOW! Maybe he did and I blocked it out. He will next week, I know it.

I hope you see it soon!

Hhahahahaahah. - your lost rant.

Well she's lost to The Doctor because he can't get to her. Or at least that's how I took it. Or maybe he actually went looking of her and couldn't find her but I don't know how he would do that since you know worlds collapsing onto themselves would happen.

I get that, but it's just, it's not like she wandered away and he can't find her, he just can't reach her and I JUST DON'T LIKE SAYING SHE'S LOST.

ARGH.

Heh, it's fun getting worked up over this because I'm laughing while I'm ranting. It's like...hilariously frustrating.

This may or may not be a good sign.

Well you amused me :)

I think they are going for lost because Rose will appear later on. So they go from "trapped" which equals never coming back, to "lost" which doesn't mean never coming back, just not there. They are not so subtlety suggesting that "oh hey Rose can still come back" And I'm sure you know all that and yet it still bugs you so *iz amused*

I do like to amuse :D

You know, I actually figured that, which is just GAH. That man makes me pout too much.
